You get answers-Instantly. Participating financial institutions include the vast majority of tier one and two banks as well as larger credit unions.

After entering check information into either our Virtual Terminal or in an integrated solution, a merchant receives a result notification of "positive", "negative", or "unknown". "Negative" responses alert the merchant that there are problems with this specific account. "Positive" assures the merchant the account is currently in good standing (open and funds available). "Unknown" suggests the account in question is not within the ATM Verify network. Codes are returned that provide more specific responses. We now offer ATMVerify in a phone (IVR) based solution. Simply call an 800#, enter check information and instantly get an approval or decline. Perfect for merchants taking checks in the consumer's home or at a trade show.

Should the account not reside in the ATMVerify network we can hit the NCN database. NCN allows you to get feedback on the consumer's check writing history (data provided from major retailers).

ATM Verify can be integrated within the merchant’s current system, even if using another ACH processor.
